I know how you feeling, things are getting tight, everything is going up except your salary… I was in the same boat as you about 6 months ago, except I was not employed I was unemployed, I had my own company for a few years which I kept running just because it paid the bills, I actually hated the business, it was doing everything I hate doing and because I did not put any passion or real effort into the business it Failed…

Being the type of person I am, I kept on trying to keep the business going, without success for months which only caused the situation to get worse… eventually I had used all our family reserves, borrowed mountains of money from family and ended up loosing it all…

Now this may not sound like the end of the world if I was a young single guy who always has the option to run back to mommy, No in my case I am closing in on my mid thirties, I have a wife and three kids, my girls are 5 & 6 years old and my son is 8 months old… I was in trouble!

Eventually it came to a point when I needed to make a decision, I had to find a JOB (Just Over Broke) or I had to find another way to make money to support my family, to me this was a cross roads I never wanted to come to as a couple years ago I came to a decision and promised myself that I will never work for a boss again, I just could not handle selling my time for minimum wage so that the bosses could drive around in their fancy cars and play golf most of the week days, No I decided I wanted to control my own time and I don’t want anyone to limit the level of money that I earned…

I HAD TO MAKE A DECISION…

With this in mind I had to make a decision and I decided that I would first have a look at what else I can do before I even considered getting out the paper and looking for a Full Time or Part Time Job.

Firstly I needed to see what I had left in the failed business, basically I had an office desk, a phone system, Laser Printer,  basic computer and a good connection to the internet… So I started writing a list of possible services I could offer to make money, the list went something like this…

- Telesales for local companies (I hate talking on the phone, let alone selling on the phone)

- Admin and Typing Service (I am still a two finger type and this would take forever for little money)

- Boy Friday General Run around service (Again to much time for to little money)

As you can see this list was not going well so I thought I would try something different, I started a list of things I was good at and liked doing… some of the items included

- I liked working on computers, and had learn’t how to find my way around most the programs

- I liked the internet a lot, the power and size of the internet intrigued me, also I used it to find business before.

- I liked working my own schedule, I don’t like getting up to early but I dont mind working in the evenings when it quite

- I liked having free time during the day to collected the kids from school and visit coffee shops with friends

- I like to only work when I have to not when someone tells me to.

Now this list was looking good, but there was a problem, where do I get a job or start a business that will give me what I want???

Well my favorite place to get answers when I don’t know is the internet, so I got onto Google and started to search for the things I want… At first I started to get excited,  I read stories of how people had made endless fortunes just working a couple hours a day, 2 days a week and started thinking hay this may be it as it checks all the box’s on the list, so I started to investigate further and guess what I found..

CRAP (Excuse the language)

Yes that’s right, I started buying into a lot of these get rich over night and make millions from only one hour work a week systems… every time having to beg and borrow the money to buy them… It was such a waste of time and money, mainly because, sure the guys had a system that they use to make money on the internet which they shared with you, BUT they left out the little nuggets of information on how to actually apply these systems… the dogs… Needless to say I became very unpopular in my home, every time I told my wife about the next great ebook or system I just bought, she would go red in the face to a point that I thought she was going to start blowing steam out the ears… She was trying to be supportive but at the end I could see I was on very thin ice..

SO WHAT HAPPENED NEXT…

Well obviously it was not working with all these internet scams, I had to do something else but my problem was that I knew it was possible to build a business like this I just needed to find someone who could show me the full system, I needed a step by step how to guide… so I set off to see if I could find someone who could show me the ropes… I then spent the next week reading up on forums, blogs and teaching websites to see if I could find a PROVEN system that works.

I GOT LUCKY…

I read through the page and it sounded great, my only problem was going to be convincing my wife that I should get it, well I thought it through and decided OK, I will get this system but if it turns out to be another half cooked system then I will not buy another one of these systems/ courses… Well after another close call with the wife I scrapped the couple bucks required and bought the system.

Well it was a 100 page manual, 7 supporting video’s and some other valuable stuff in the members area.. I immediately got to work reading the manual and watching the video’s, it basically took the whole day.

THERE WAS SOMETHING DIFFERENT…

While consuming all the info this system had to offer I noticed something was different, there was no promises of making millions in 30 days, there was no hype about you will get rich with this system, anything like that… George started talking about his system, telling me how he goes about setting it up, what I need to get up and running, which markets I should tackle, all the steps to setting up the website, showing how even someone who has no internet marketing experience could use this system…

Well home life is getting better by the day, I watch baby in the morning and then collect the kids from school in the afternoon, when my wife and I talk, its not sorry but I need to spend the grocery money on another internet system, its more like hay, it was a great day to day, while running around with the kids we made money…Its great.

When you trying to find an address you have never visited before one of the worst things is not being able to find or read house numbers, so this idea involves painting the house number on the curb outside every house, just think how many potential clients you have just in your immediate area.

So this is how it could work, you go to your local hardware,  building supplies or paint shop and purchase road marking white and black paint, florescent white would be the best, you then buy or make a stencil which has numbers from 0-9 (Just make that they are large enough to cover the distance between the road and pavement, size counts here).. Once you have these materials you good to go.

I would suggest you have a look at how they currently mark roads and get an idea of layout and then I would also say do a couple trial runs with friends and families house to ensure you get your technique right.

Once this is done just work out your cost per number and then add a good profit on top for your time and you set.

Car wash services have become very popular over recent years and will increase even more over time as people have less and less time available to spend an afternoon wash their car.. Give some though as to how many millions of cars are on the road… this could become an empire and you could be offering part time employment to your friends in no time.

Ok so the concept is easy, go to your local car wash or a couple in the area, watch what service they provide and how they manage to do it quickly yet professionally, take note of the equipment used and soaps. next you visit your local wholesaler and purchase all the items you need to offer your service and you are in business.

Next wash a couple cars for friends and family and make sure you know how to do a quick and professional job, once you happy work out a price list based on the prices at the car wash and you good to go.

Hint: If  you have time off during the week call in at a couple of the local office parks and see if you can wash peoples cars while they are working this is a great time saver for the customer and they could easily become regular clients every week x 20 customers = BIG MONEY for you.

Lets start with the reasons why you would want evening jobs or even weekend jobs, most common is I need extra money to pay the bills, pay for studies or buy a new item which you cant

currently afford. Although common among the masses these are not good motives for having to give up your evenings and weekends just to work another part time job… Stay with me not as I

explain why this is not a good idea and also disclose another options available to you.

One of the biggest reasons why part time work is not worth it is because as with everything there is a price, the price is high for some and low for others, these include but are not limited to…

• Family time, you loose the limited amount of time you have for your family, even if the cause is to support the family the cost is to high in the long run
• Your time, you loose out on one of the most precious assets you have and can never get back.
• Rest, every human being needs rest, working a full time job and a part time evening job will wear you out in a couple months and once this happens you run the risk of loosing both due to poor performance.
• Knowledge, If you are dedicating all your time to work when are you going to get time to learn mew skills or further develop your existing skills
• Social, working your job in the evening or the weekend needless to say kills your social life and you will find you existing relationships drifting away over time.

So that’s the bad side now lets look at the good side…

Someone once told me “The average person (The guy not working evenings or weekends) has on average 3 hours everyday day available to further develop himself, the person who invests this time in developing himself or learning a new skill will be the one who goes on to prosper in his / her life, the others about 95%+ who just pull up to the TV will most likely always be stuck working in a job and never break free into really living, to a business owner or entrepreneur we like this 95% because they become our worker bees and do everything for us so we can enjoy the real life”

So now that I have talk to you about why you should not get the Part Time Job in the evening or on the weekends, lets talk about some other options..

• Start a part time business, this has to be the most valuable thing you could do with your time, first because you own the business and earn as much money as you like and second because this part time business could turn out to become a very successful full time business pay you all the money you wanted and freeing up as much time as you need.
• Setup an online business, the best part of an online business is that it is setup and managed right out of your home, you can work on it whenever you have the time and if you run out of time the business keeps running and generates an income for you… did you know a new millionaire is made every 60 minutes using the internet.
• Learn to trade shares or forex on the internet
• Learn to buy and sell property and then build up a sizable property portfolio spitting out large junks of cash when you buy and then sell and also a constant flow of income from those properties you select to rent out.

These are just some ideas on Part time evening jobs or should I say businesses that you could start instead of giving up your valuable time to just work another  weekend job.
